Advice on oily skin care for men
Advice on oily skin care for men
Men’s skin usually secretes 15% more sebum than women’s, and the pores are also larger so it’s easier to trap dirt, clog sweat glands and cause acne.
Step 1: Cleanse skin
You should choose facial cleansers for oily skin (oil free), foam or gel are the most suitable because they contain few moisturizing ingredients, helping to remove sebum on the skin and clean dirt on the surface.
Step 2: Use Toner
Don’t forget this step, toner or skin toner, rose water is essential for your skin to regain balance after the cleansing step.
Step 3: Moisturize
Men don’t need too many lotions and serums, but moisturizer is indispensable even if you have oily skin.
1-2 times/week: Exfoliate
Exfoliating several times a month is essential for oily skin, you should choose gentle exfoliating products that do not irritate the skin.
Here’s a natural exfoliating method for you: Mix a little brown sugar with honey and olive oil into a thick mixture, rub evenly and gently on your skin, then rinse with cold water.
Useful advice
With all of the above steps, you should do it gently, don’t rub or use too much force on the skin, to avoid irritating the skin and making it more oily.
The best way is to use your hands, makeup remover cotton, or sponge… depending on the product you use, apply it to your skin in small circles from the inside out.
