The Louis Vuitton brand’s 2018 Cruise collection made a big splash when it arrived in Japan’s ancient capital of Kyoto, performing in a space hailed as a `marriage` between nature and modern architecture.

Creative director Nicolas Ghesquière: “I visited the Miho museum a few years ago and was fascinated by I.M.Pei’s concept of harmony between architecture and nature.

After the collection was launched, fashion photos were also born in the wonderful green space of Kyoto, Japan.

The forests typical of the Kyoto region appear soft and relaxing through the Louis Vuitton brand’s photos.

Cruise’s designs are a harmony of Louis Vuitton fashion with the quintessence of Japanese culture.

The French fashion house’s adventurous fashion blends into Japanese nature.

The costumes are designed with the concept of traveling and exploring differences.

The designer of the Louis Vuitton brand also skillfully integrated images of traditional Japanese culture into modern-style outfits.

The combination of modern urbanism and nature in Japan provided Louis Vuitton with inspiration to design this collection.

Natural light creates a more complete look for each Cruise 2018 design of the Louis Vuitton brand.

The collection also pays tribute to designer Kansaï Yamamoto, who paved the way for an entire generation of Japanese designers by introducing his work in France with the Paris catwalk.

The pattern on the shirt is reminiscent of Japanese ink paintings.

Yamamoto is famous for designing most of David Bowie’s costumes.

Many designs this time closely follow the spirit of Hokusai.

The meditative bamboo forest space of Japanese nature must have brought `deep notes` of inspiration to designer Nicolas Ghesquière.
