Designer Nhu Duong – Digital printing in ELLE fashion show
Since when did Nhu Duong start to love fashion?
My mother was a seamstress when we still lived in Saigon.
I graduated from Beckmans College of Design in Stockholm.
How did Nhu Duong design the model, what materials and techniques did she use?
There are some materials that always `tempt` me strongly, such as leather, plastic, soft latex, metal, or materials with shiny, reflective surfaces.
I design fashion in a very natural way, according to inspiration.
And if it comes to styling, first I wrap the fabric or shape it with different styles.
Can Nhu Duong tell more about landscape motifs and digital printing?
Actually, I always want to create my own materials, and printing is the most direct way to do it.

What about the collection with ELLE Fashion Show this time?
The main part of this collection is a number of dresses from the JPEG set – a series of dresses digitally printed on silk, sewn with neoprene foam material.
I used software to delete some of the information encoded in the jpeg photos, damaging the photos, then printing them on silk.
How should I wear number printed outfits?
Since print is the main motif, I think it’s best to keep a minimalist look, just a pair of sharp heels and a clutch is perfect.
