After being beaten by Kuma, Luffy suddenly landed on an island inhabited only by women, where these women are some of the most dangerous warriors in One Piece.

Here, temples and houses are built on the walls of steep cliffs.

During Luffy’s first adventure, he went to the Kingdom of Alabasta.

Although there are many cities and towns that make up this fictional kingdom, they are all inspired by many famous places in Egypt.

Water 7 City is known for its horizontal and vertical canals, forcing people to use boats to move around.

From the canals to the style of the boats, it’s no surprise that Venice with its gondolas was the inspiration for this scene.

The island of Wano Kuni is inspired by the Japanese homeland of the Beast Pirates, a pirate crew ruled by one of the strongest villains Kaiduo.

With a 3-storey architecture and curved roof similar to Azuchi Castle, the residence of the famous lord Oda Nobunaga (1534-1582) built over 3 years from 1576, Wano Kuni is considered by many fans to be identical.
